Testimonials
Cody is a lighthouse for those who think it is too late for them to come out or live authentically. Their storytelling is honest, genuine, and heartfelt. They create a safer place for people to exist and intentionally connect through relatable memes and silliness overall, educational posts, and personal reflection.
In the brief time I have known them, they’ve grown tremendously in heart and spirit. I’ve watched them take up more space by setting new boundaries, authoring must-read books, and allowing their identities to evolve without apology in the public eye. Cody is a positive role model for people who need the nudge that it’s okay for them to question who they are at any age.
They’re also a reassuring parental figure for those who need gentle reminders that they are more than enough; they are not broken, a burden, or asking for too much.

As an LGBTQ+ agency, we lacked staff competency on supporting our aro and ace spectrum young people. Cody’s training really kicked down the door on aro/ace visibility for us and I was surprised by how much I learned as someone on the spectrum. The training went from A-Z on the theoreticals of split attraction model and micro labels to practical scenarios on how to affirm youth coming out and include the community in sex positive group spaces. Cody's presentation style is true to the Ace Dad Advice brand as he speaks with so much care and quiet authority that is as soothing as it is engaging. By popular demand, we will definitely have Cody host this training again in the future.

"We had never done programming specifically for ace/aro students before and knew we wanted to bring in an outside speaker.
Cody was the perfect choice! They did a really good job at making everyone feel comfortable and answering all ace-related questions. He was also really great at communicating and planning in advance. We would love to have them back in the future."

"The sex coaches in training and graduates greatly benefited from Cody's expertise on how to provide inclusive coaching to Asexual clients. Not only did he provide valuable insights and practical advice, but his enthusiasm, passion, and personal experience is invaluable.
Cody's generosity in sharing his knowledge and experiences truly stood out. His approach created a safe and supportive environment for everyone in the room, fostering a sense of belonging and understanding.
I highly recommend inviting Cody to speak to your group and to anyone seeking to enhance their understanding of Asexuality and create a more inclusive space for their clients."

“It was a great pleasure having Cody visit our campus in honor of International Asexuality Day as he brought Asexual Visibility, Energy, Joy, Enthusiasm, and Encouragement to our small Asexual and Aromantic Community at Lorain County Community College.
Our club members and fellow students loved Cody, they learned a lot from the Asexual 101 crash course, they felt inspired and seen by Cody’s story.
They’re excited to read their copy of I Am Ace and are looking forward to learning more from Ace Dad!"
